Information:
This last summer, I completed a long-term research project at the L.B.J. Ranch for the National Park Service. The primary focus was collecting photographs of the ranch during the time period that President Johnson was in office. This is a part of a long-term project by the Park Service to have a working ranch of the time period for the public to visit.
This fall, along with about eight other College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources faculty members, we are developing a Master Plan for the Therapeutic Riding Center here at the Ranching Heritage Center. This is part of a long-term university effort to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities in the Lubbock region.
Interests:
My professional experience and primary scholarly interest focus on the historical development of the American landscape and its relationship to planning and design decisions. The major design studios have had primary projects in either the urban or natural setting as their primary focus.
