THE OTHER PROFESSOR KLEIN

In 2003, a group of students unfurl the Texas Tech flag in front of the Labna arch, a 9th century Mayan ruin.  The scene is strikingly similar to Frederick Catherwood’s 1842 drawing.

Professor Klein becomes the student as six-year old Gabby tries desperately to teach him how to make traditional Mayan tortillas.
